Meet Krista

Krista Strohoffer has specialized in Sustainable and Socially Responsible Investing since 1999 and is firmly committed to impact investing. She is both a Financial Advisor and Certified Financial Planner™.

After working at Prudential Securities, The Center for Responsible Investing, Morgan Stanley, and Smith Barny, she struck out on her own in 2006 and launched Principled Investing, LLC – a Certified B Corporation™. Most recently, Krista became a founding member of Sustainable Advisors Alliance, LLC.

Colorado-based, Krista serves clients throughout the United States and around the world. Krista’s clients include individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations that want their investments to reflect their personal values and/or mission statement. Krista and her clients believe that money can and does make a difference and that how you invest can have a positive socio-economic and environmental impact. Krista helps her clients identify their financial goals and dreams and then helps them develop a strategy to reach them using investments that won’t trample their values.

Sustainable and Socially Responsible investing gives investors the opportunity to look beyond the financials of an investment into its Environmental, Social, and Governance or ethics impact. How a company treats its employees, their community, the environment, and the consumers of their products sheds light on how well that company is managed and how well that company is likely to compete in the long term.

Krista spends a great deal of time educating her clients because knowledge is power and with financial knowledge comes financial freedom! Regardless of their net worth or investable assets, Krista firmly believes that everyone deserves and benefits from professional financial advice.

In her free time, Krista enjoys hiking, climbing, and skiing in the beautiful Colorado mountains. She is an avid gardener and enjoys eating from her small but productive organic vegetable garden.
